To provide quality advocacy for all US Veterans, Armed Forces members, their dependents and survivors, through benefit counseling and programs, claims, and outreach services.

To reach out to all Veterans Organizations, and veterans through traditional public relations, community involvement, and by initiation and implementation of activities that encourage them to access their rightfully earned entitlements and benefits.

To respond to the needs of all Veterans, armed forces members, their dependents and survivors, and to provide linkage for them to other support services.

• Provide individualized assistance to veterans in their job search and career development
• Conduct outreach to veterans and employers to build relationships and increase employment opportunities
• Develop and deliver presentations to community organizations and other stakeholders on veterans' employment services and initiatives
• Counsel veterans on their rights and responsibilities under applicable laws and regulations
• Assist veterans with the preparation of résumés and cover letters, job applications, and interview preparation
• Collaborate with local employers and other partners to identify job openings and create employment opportunities for veterans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of veteran clients and their employment status
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on veterans' employment issues and best practices
