Co-President of the Rad Tech club

As Co-President of the Rad Tech Club for Sauk Valley Community College, it is my job to create and communicate the weekly agenda  to all members (students) and faculty of new and upcoming events. Additionally, I organized a club fundraiser where we sold products to bolster our club revenue in order to afford a trip for all students to attend the approaching RSNA Conference in Chicago, Illinois. This conference allows students to engage with industry leaders in the radiological technologist field, and learn about new methods, practices and equipment that are being practiced currently in our field.  The funding goals we met as a class/organization garnered more than the conference fees, but moreover, allowed us to work as a team, building upon our personal and professional relationships while reaching a common goal. We surpassed our fundraising goal which allowed us to sponsor families in need during this holiday season. Over all this experience has provided a unique opportunity for me to grow as a professional.
