As the Director of Pharmacy, I have been responsible for every aspect of business of the pharmacy; personnel, regulatory, financial and education. It has been my responsibility to identify any areas of weakness and develop my own plan for improvement. My position as a Public Health Decision Maker with Janssen Neuroscience has helped clinical teams develop treatment protocols that directly impact mental health treatment success. My collaboration with Janssen has given me opportunity to reach an even larger audience with the publication of two articles. Additionally, my recent inclusion in Janssen Neuroscience Addressing Mental Health Disparities Advisory Board, has created a more specialized avenue for delivering information critical to clinical success to communities in need. I also have had the privilege of observing the operations of an Investigational Pharmacy and am familiar with FDA standards that must be followed during clinical trials. This observation also exposed me to the rigors of interpreting research study data. Throughout my career I have sought opportunities to build my clinical knowledge base while strengthen me as a leader.
