  • Manage the statewide Afghan Support and Investment Program (ASIP) and the Housing Assistance for Ukrainians (HAU) project, funded by the Refugee Programs Bureau of the California Department of Social Services.
  • Responsible for managing a staff of 50+ and budgets totaling $115 million. Manage programmatic, operational, budgetary, personnel, and reporting obligations for both programs; develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes; conduct case review for high-needs clients; coordinate with CDSS and Resettlement Agencies to address urgent and emergent cases.
  • ASIP and HAU provide subsidized housing, housing navigation, and case management for eligible Afghan and Ukrainian newcomers across California.
