As a TM in the grocery department of Whole Foods, I work alongside a small team. In order to manage stock, move goods, and display products through the entire store, coordination and logistics are crucial elements for success. I have understood the various parts of the supply chain, such as sourcing, ordering from suppliers, and displaying items on shelf direct to customers. I have gained knowledge about MTO and MTS, and how as a team member, I can play a role in smoothing those processes. This has inspired me to explore Supply Chain, where I will get to collaborate with others and analyze capacities and processes. It has been unique to apply learnings to actual experiences.

Unpaid micro-internship connected through the Maroon Gold Network. After a round of interviews, I was selected to be a Data Management Research intern/consultant. The overall goal being data sourcing and research for AI development. Research included data collection processes and tools utilized in AI data management. Also reporting the qualifications of data collecting services through excel and consulting on which services are the most qualified. This experience has given me insights into data collection that will play hand in hand to various analytic roles which I could be expecting in my future.
