- I am currently posted at Gallup City Hall. My responsibilities include hourly patrols around downtown area of Gallup. I sit at the front desk to watch security cameras when I am not patrolling and I direct city hall customers to the department or where they may need assistance.
- Blackstone has taught me to be confident with social skills especially because I work with people on the daily.
Crew Member/Leader
Ancestral Lands Conservation corps

- I have worked with Ancestral lands conservation corp for 3 seasons, starting back in August of 2023. I started my first season as a crew member on a 7-person chainsaw crew. There I learned the fundamentals of important team work, work safety, and strong communication skills.
- From April of 2024 to November of 2024, I had gained experience of working as a crew leader. Giving work guidance to those new to the program. On a 7 person, we worked numerous projects including, trail, fencing, erosion/vegetation restoration, and crosscut projects.
- From January 2025 to July 2025 I completed another season as a Crew leader. I continued to learn more about crew moral development, leadership, and responsibility. This season I had the opportunity to give guidance to new members that were interested in crew leadership development. Which led me to lead the crew leader development program. Our project priorities mainly focused on trail construction and rock work.
- I currently hold an A sawyer chainsaw certification that was issued to me in August of 2023 and expires in 2026. I also hold a B sawyer certification in crosscut. I have experience and certifications in Wilderness first aid and CPR.
