Dedicated and dependable, with a proven track record at Kroger, I excel in fast-paced environments, demonstrating exceptional customer service and inventory management skills. Adept at verbal communication, I efficiently handled diverse customer needs, enhancing satisfaction levels. My diligence and computer literacy significantly contributed to streamlining operations and improving team efficiency.
When customers use the Kroger app for an order they want to pick up later, it's my job to either go out and pick these groceries for their order and/or take it out to their car and load the groceries for them when they arrive to pick it up.
This was a summer job I had for two years. I worked at a park where I would run rides for kids. There was a train, small rollercoaster, carousel, big and small ferris wheel, swings, and "Kiddie Land" which had a plane ride, jets, and cars for smaller kids to ride on. Every hour we'd rotate to each ride to operate for a bit.
I ran the drive-thru for a brief time at Taco Bell where I took orders, prepared drinks, and processed payments.
I participate in two different clubs after school. The Gay-Straight Alliance, where we've provided a safe space for queer students and allies to talk about their experiences without feeling judged. I'm also a part of the Needle and Arts Club as the Treasurer, where I am responsible for going online and finding supplies we're in need of that are also within the budget we've been given by the school.
I've gone down with a group of students in my school to help with cleaning up after the "Strawberry Festival" that takes place every year in my old town I used to live in. We specifically helped to wash off and dry the dirty dishes that were used in baking all the goods people made and sold for the event. I've also participated in service learning at my school, meaning I'm an assistant for a teacher. I've helped him by helping students with any issues they've had on their projects. I have also fixed and taken apart Chromebooks for my teacher as he is a computer teacher and I've taken his Information Technology classes.
I also spend a lot of time at home helping my sister with taking care of her four children (a 9 year old, 7 year old, 2 year old, and a 1 year old). I make dinner for them, take them school shopping, I help change and dress the younger two and occasionally take the older two to their dads for the weekend and sometimes pick them up as well.
