Company Overview: Colorado State Patrol's Communication As a dispatcher, I dispatched for multiple federal, state, and local government agencies. the agencies served include Colorado Bureau of Investigation, Division of Wildlife, and State Parks. In addition, we provide services to local police, sheriff, and emergency medical dispatch.
It was my mission to provide the best emergency communications and dispatch service in the state, in order to help and protect those in need who depend on me.
I was in control of all radios; radio encryption; radio access; all wireless devices, applications, and services; network servers and interfaces; Computer Aided Dispatch and systems.
I was able to empathize with customers, provide a calm and profe response even when under extreme duress.
It was a must to have strong listening skills and be able to prioritize job duties, often in an environment where multiple emergency situations occur simultaneously.
Executed company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure the proper cleanliness and safety of the office and equipment.
Provided customer service and was involved in training.
Continually updated a leadership resume and honed skills by participating in various management trainings.
Offered strong customer service skills, keeping customers satisfied.
