I started at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association (DBA St. Lawrence County Center for History & Culture) as the Collections Manager, transitioned to Interim Director, Director of Collections & Community Engagement (a shared leadership model) and finally, E.D. in 2024.

• Oversee museum operations, staff, interns, volunteers, buildings and grounds at 1830s historic house with an addition from 2000
• Create and facilitate public education programs and museum tours
• Oversee museum finances, fundraising and grant writing
• Develop and install exhibits
• Manage permanent collection of over 200,000 historic objects, photographs, and archival materials

• Processed and cataloged incoming objects and archival materials
• Selected objects and wrote interpretive labels for exhibitions, including Up From the Ashes: Oneonta Shaped by Fire (2020) and Oneonta: Small Community, Big Ideas (opening April 2022)
• Researched family and community history for Oneonta residents

• Developed public programming and exhibition ideas relating to 19th-century industrial and agricultural processes in New York state
• Reconciled 5,000+ Found in Collections (FIC) objects
• Cataloged reconciled objects in Past Perfect online database
• Generated content for the Mill’s 175th-anniversary publication

• Led tours across the 412-acre estate, which included Robert Todd Lincoln’s seasonal home, a 1903 Pullman Palace Car, an operational goat dairy, and a working farm
• Trained and supervised seasonal docents
• Developed interpretive plans and a virtual tour for a 1903 Pullman Palace Car
• Juried 2020 Lincoln Essay Competition, open to 8-12th graders across Vermont

• Developed on-site art programming and led gallery tours

• Led tours of historic textile mill buildings and demonstrated pre-industrial cotton processing machinery for schools and public groups, dressed in 18th-century period clothing.
