In 2010 I became respite care provider for Family and Children's Center in La Crosse. This job consisted of taking in children manly on weekends to watch and give either their parents or foster parents a break. In June of 2011 we met a little boy who changed our desire from doing just weekend care to full time. foster parents. In February of 2012 we became this little guys foster parents. We took other kids in to foster and respite for the next 9 1/2 years. The little boy (Casey) who convinced us to become foster parents joined our family in December of 2012 through adoption. The other kids who came through our home were here for a few days up to 4 years. While in our care we provided a safe stable home for them. We taught them different things like love, compassion, respect and everyday life skills. In 2021 due to some family dynamics we decided to get out of foster care.

I am currently a Package Handler for FedEx Ground. I have been in this position since 2023. I am in charge of sorting and loading packages onto their proper carts or trucks for delivery.
