I'm a passionate, results driven worker. Coming from a small farming town in rural Washington, I found myself wondering what to do in higher education, and for that matter, career. I uprooted myself from my home and family in Washington in pursuit of a career that would take me across the United States. I am ready, willing and able to give myself entirely to learning my duties within an industry that I have nothing but love for, and I hope you find my enthusiasm and work ethic a perfect fit for your company, and your customers.
At Proof Research I was charged with the task of facilitating the carbon fiber wrapping procedure to their barrels. I worked with hazardous chemicals and materials that required appropriate PPE and caution when performing my duties.
My responsibilities entail; stocking, fronting merchandise, operating a forklift, coordinating with other sales associates and helping customers find the solution to a variety of problems in and outside of their home and business.
Like the job responsibilities at my current employ with the ACE hardware here in Kalispell, I went beyond my job description on almost every account, expanding my expertise to whatever I could lay my hands on to open myself up for assistance wherever I was needed; from a freight receiving clerk to full time lawn and garden sales associate.
At Bill Pierre I found myself covering many positions that had gone unfilled due to many staffing issues, and on a regular basis I could find myself filling all three positions listed within a regular work day. Even then my management would rely on my flexibility to cover other drivers, taking me all over the greater Seattle area on any given day.
I was originally hired on to fulfill the role of a package handler, but as the season ended I was promoted to a supervisor to oversee anywhere between ten to twenty hourly employees while they loaded packages into air cargo containers, making sure that said packages reached their destination in a timely manner. In this position I also volunteered to take on HAZMAT auditing training administered by a representative of the FAA; from then on I would ensure that any hazardous item would be correctly packaged, labeled, secured and shipped in accordance with the law in addition to my duties.
