As a server at Walk-On's, I honed in on my multitasking as well as my service skills including upselling, stress-management, and my overall confidence in hospitality.
I worked with the p.o.s. system Toast over the course of my time there and I feel that I can adequately maneuver the software.
As a busser I strived to keep the flow of the resturaunt going by ensuring all bar wells, ice wells, drink stations, and tables were stocked and cleaned to high-standards.
Bartending really allowed for my strengths to shine through as I continued to bring in many return guests in which some would only come in to see me. I encouraged a very social atmosphere with my guests and would provide great service while maintaining my output on the service bar.
Creativity is an immense part of who I am and because of that guests felt comfortable entrusting me with creating a drink special for their personal liking.
I kept the bar clean and often times would take it upon myself to fix, clean, and reorganize the bar to new levels in order to maintain an efficient and clean work environment for my coworkers as well as the guests.
I felt more than comfortable describing any one of our dishes and drinks to a guest and my overall menu knowledge allowed me to provide strong and influential suggestions to guests.
