- Throughout my year of employment at UPS I started off as a loader for the trucks, loading 3-4 trucks each shift. As a loader you must be very organized and willing to be on your feet your entire shift. Organization skills are indeed needed when loading due to aligning the packages on the shelf according to assigned number and address and even apartment numbers. I had also moved on to being an unloader later on in the year where I would unload the cans of packages onto the conveyor belt for them to be scanned and processed. Eventually, I had moved on to a scanner where we scan the barcodes and place a new individually made sticker onto the package. Lastly, I did the BA position for all the packages that have missing labels, unfinished information, or damaged and needed to be returned.

- T&C Surf was a seasonal job for me during my senior year in high school. As a successful cashier, I worked with my customers to ensure they had a great experience in the store with finding what they needed and even what they did not come into the store for. One of the greatest things I enjoyed from this position was being able to put a smile on my customers faces. Especially when it came to gift giving for family members, it really brought the joy out in people. My duties as a cashier were to process cash, card and gift card transactions for purchases and returns regarding the products being sold.
