Job Responsibilities:
Sales Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities within the catering market segment. This includes identifying potential clients, prospecting, cold calling, and networking to secure new accounts.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Proposal Development: Create customized proposals and presentations tailored to the specific requirements and budgets of clients. Present proposals effectively, addressing client concerns and objections, and negotiate contracts to close sales.
Event Planning and Coordination: Work closely with clients and internal teams to plan and execute events, ensuring all details are coordinated effectively, including menu selection, logistics, staffing, and timelines.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Utilize market research to develop targeted marketing strategies and product/service offerings.
Revenue Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and prepare regular reports on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and pipeline status. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including culinary, operations, and logistics teams, to ensure seamless delivery of catering services and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Create correspondence with clients, create all Banquet and Event Orders in Sales Force/ Delphi, organize, supervise and execute meetings and banquet events. Oversee day to day procedures of the restaurant, generate weekly reports, answer daily calls and incoming emails and leads. Develop and execute annual marketing plans to maximize sales and revenue. Research and prospect new business as well as maintain relationships with past clients. Sell to service and ad hoc groups calling in as inquiry calls along with sending 50+ qualified prospecting emails and/or phone calls, along with entertainment lunches. Last but not least, attend marketing events and other community functions.
