· Performs case ascertainment of cancer cases, analyze and abstract pertinent information from medical records (i.e.: pathology reports, diagnostic radiology reports, and other pertinent information relating to the diagnosis of cancer) into computerized cancer registry software system.

· Assist with other functions relating to Cancer Program Management and preparation for the' American College of Surgeons Accreditation process

· Maintain systems and files, including quality control for identifying and recording all cases of the Cancer Registry to include case abstracting and Tumor Board.

· Analyze data within state and national tumor registry guidelines, ensuring data conformity and confidentiality.

· Assures requirements for American College of Surgeons (ACOS) are met and maintained.
