To Whom It May Concern:

You most certainly have noticed that a large portion of my adult life has been as an unemployed person. There are two reasons for this:

1) I did not always have to work so I spent some time traveling (and even living) abroad.

2) I was injured in a surgery where a product was used and later recalled by the FDA. It took many years and many additional surgeries to repair that damage. For some of those years I continued to work but later was disabled from it. In the last few years my health has improved greatly and I've mostly resumed a normal life. As I'm retired now, I'm finding a restlessness to get back out into the workplace and do the things I so enjoyed earlier.
