Additional Information

In 2018, I had responded to a patient who brought her son with her. She was concern because he had not been feeling well. I had a feeling that her concern was true by her actions with me. Sure enough I went to him he was slumped over at that time and sweating profusely. I yelled for a code and the MET team responded. One of the RN's came back down to talk to my boss. The patient was in extreme hypovolemic shock. For this I was made Colleague of the Month for 2018 and for the year for the Laboratory.
