During my time as Research Assistant, I learned how to properly conduct research through the investigation of different topics in cognitive Psychology. After deciding on a topic, my team and I built a study from the ground up. My responsibilities included completing CITI certifications, writing/submitting abstracts and proposals, familiarity with various computer programs (Excel, MediaLab, SPSS, Gazepoint, etc.). Along with these responsibilities, I aided in data collection, data analysis, presentation preparation, and the presentation of research in multiple locations.

Inside Out Prison Exchange Program, 08/01/23

The Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program is an educational program where I was able to take part in an integrated classroom of fellow GCSU students and inmates at Riverbend Correctional Facility. Throughout the semester, we discussed various criminal justice issues and worked together to create a class project targeting criminal justice issues.
