Versatile leader with a proven track record in strategic planning and community engagement, demonstrated through founding Colorado Japanese Chin Rescue. Skilled in budgeting and fostering relationships, I excel in program management and have significantly impacted non-profit and corporate sectors. Recognized for exceptional performance in fraud risk management at Central Bank of Denver, I blend analytical prowess with compassionate leadership.
I founded and have been the Director of a small non profit dog rescue specializing in Japanese Chin Dogs and other small breeds since January 2009. I manage all aspects of the organization, including all financial, registrations with the Secretary of State and IRS as a 501(c)3 charity, licensing and meeting all requirements dictated by the Colorado Department of Agriculture (PACFA) Pet Animal Care Facilities Act. We are a foster home, volunteer based rescue. I am responsible for all fundraising, veterinary expenses, event planning and all compliance issues. We get every dog who comes into our rescue whatever they need emotionally, medically and behaviorally. We are passionate about helping all Japanese Chins and senior and special needs dogs who need rescue. We average about 40 dogs per year on intake and do not adopt to any home without a home visit and all of the animals medical, emotional and behavioral needs have been met.
I was given an award from both the federal Immigration and Naturalization Service for helping to resolve a complex fraud scheme involving students from the UAE who were in this country on student visas. I was also given an award from the Director of the FBI, Denver Field Office regarding the resolution of many complex bank fraud cases.
