I began my journey in social work at Utah Valley University as a BSW student, where my practicum with the Division of Child and Family Services laid the foundation for my practice. I continued to grow professionally through a variety of roles within DCFS and later as an LCSW in private practice. My transition into UVU’s Social Work programs allowed me to apply this experience in Field Education, where I support students, field instructors, and agency partners. I have extensive experience overseeing field operations, implementing program improvements, and leading initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and quality of field education. I am skilled at fostering collaborative partnerships and creating productive, efficient, and student-centered learning environments.
