Orchestrated $4.7M in facility upgrades and renovations at fleet mail center, increasing overall effectiveness of the operation.

• Postal Monies Audit board member. Conducted monthly audits at Yokosuka and Ikego Post Office ensuring strict accountability of 12 financial accounts, $50K in stamp stock, and $500K in USPS capital/sensitive equipment. Earned back-to-back scores of “Outstanding” on the Postal Assessment Visits (PAV) and zero discrepancies for FY16 Official Mail inspection conducted by Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Global Logistics Support (GLS) Postal Director.

• Assisted in the transition from the USPS Global Business System dispatching system to the installation of the Automated Military Postal System mail container dispatching equipment and processes, the first site throughout the DOD. Accounted for $500K in USPS postal revenue and $100K in USPS accountable equipment. Transitioned from Unisys III Integrated Retail Terminal to the DM100i Digital Mailing System.

• Earned six consecutive scores of “Outstanding” on the Supply Management Inspections (SMI) and Postal Assessment Visits (PAV). Efforts contributed in the supply department earning three consecutive Supply Blue “E” awards for logistics excellence. Earned the Prestigious Commander Naval Air Forces Postal Excellence award for calendar year 2012 and 2013. • Managed 71 military and Japanese foreign nations at the Navy’s largest fleet mail center in the receipt and distribution of more than 73 million pounds of mail to CONUS/OCONUS locations, deployed units and shore commands for the USN/USMC/US Army to worldwide locations.

• Mail Router. Routed 30 million pounds of mail to 35 different locations for 600 USN/USMC mobile units operating in the Western Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Persian Gulf region. Recommended routing cut-off dates that reduced mail delivery times by 10% in the region.

• Registered Mail Supervisor. Supervised and trained 41 militarypersonnel in registered mail procedures, and verified all registered mail documents. Efforts resulted in 100% accountability of registered mail articles and zero discrepancies.

• Coordinated and led preparations for Commander Pacific Fleet Postal Assessment Visits, contributing to the Fleet Mail Center achieving consecutive “OUTSTANDING” ratings on Postal Assessments from 2005 to 2009.

• Co-facilitated the Independent Duty Postal Clerk courses (NEC 3001) at Afloat Training Group Western Pacific (ATGWP), qualifying 35 junior and senior enlisted Storekeepers (SK).

• Military Customs Liaison. Processed over 1,100 reports of Japanese Customs violations, ensuring the proper disposition of seized articles and forwarding of documentation. • Filling a gapped Store Keeper (SK). Processed 125 open purchase purchases totaling over $150K in general stores (GSK) and successful closed out the end of fiscal year with zero discrepancies.

• Composed monthly watch bills, work schedule and coordinating the Auxiliary Security Forces (ASF) requirements, requalifications, training and court duties of all assigned.

• Volunteered to deploy onboard USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) for three months during Pacific Partnership 2008, providing logistics and medical support. Managed two military personnel in providing full postal services to a crew of 1,200 military and civilians.
