I work as a DoorDash delivery driver currently . I currently have a platinum status with a 4.8 star rating with good reviews.

As supervisor, served as the team leader on moves done for Cavalier .

I had the responsibilities of ordering which leaves of furniture would get moved first, making sure everyone wrapped the furniture , moving the biggest pieces of furniture , driving the 26 foot box trucks to and from the job site , and filling out the contracts with the customers and handling payments.

Jobs would range from 2-12 hours at a time and would require quick thinking, problem solving , and a lot of endurance , especially during the grueling heat of the summer.

Working at Cavalier has definitely been a great learning experience ! Skills such as assertiveness, lifting heavy objects , communicating , team work and customer service.

During my time at FedEx , I was a delivery driver who worked his route in downtown Richmond . I was also specifically tasked with the role of overflow, meaning I delivered packages that other drivers within my same contractor couldn’t . Whether that be due to them calling out of work , emergencies or whatever the case may have been.

From the ages of 18-23, I was a proud member of the Norfolk State men’s basketball team. A team that made it to the NCAA March Madness tournament twice during my time there . We made the tournament during the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 season. During my time there, I learned the essential working life skills of teamwork , communication , work ethic and attention to detail.
