  • Four promotions are required to reach Specialist
  • Once rank of Specialist was obtained, new standards were implemented to ensure ranking was deserved
  • In one year, I received three awards and two certificates for outstanding service from the Major of my company
  • That year, all recognition resulted in my promotion to the position of Team Leader which is typically meant only for the rank of Sergeant which is a rank above mine
  • For 2 years including one year for a deployment in Bahrain, Middle East I held this position until my contract had reached its expiration
  • Trained and oversaw all operations and missions for my team of five out of ten, making sure they met requirements in accordance with military standards i.e
  • Being on time and equipped with proper gear
  • Oversaw missions from operations center placing soldiers at posts and patrols strategically, while creating reports, briefings, and debriefings which then would be displayed to my superiors
