Additional Information
Serving the people of this community is not just something I do it’s a part of who I am. I’ve been fortunate to grow up surrounded by family and friends who dedicated their lives to public service. My late father spent many years with the Valley Springs Fire Department, responding to nearly every call. Even when he could no longer physically respond, he continued to serve faithfully on the department’s board.
I was also married to someone who devoted many years to the fire department and eventually became fire chief. From a young age, the importance of community service was instilled in me—not just through words, but through the actions of those I love and admire. It’s an honor to follow in their footsteps and give back to the communities where I was born and raised.
