Accomplishments

    I have accomplished so much through FFA that it has been such a good experience for me. In 2021 I received a livestock proficiency award. In 2021 I participated in quiz bowl and my team and I got second at district. In 2022 I got a bronze medal in the state dairy judging. I also got first at district rangeland judging and I also received my Proficiency in Sheep Enterprise. In 2023 I received my State Degree. I also got a Proficiency Award for my Sheep Enterprise. In 2024 I am going to apply for my American Degree.

To whom it concerns,I am writing to submit my application for a scholarship for the fall semester of 2024. Presently, I am a first-year student at Morgan Community College for my Associate in Animal Science. I am planning on attending the University of Wyoming for my Bachelors in Ag Education in Animals and Veterinary Sciences. I am also going to get my Vet tech so I can help my local Veterinarians.I will also attach a copy of my high school and MCC grades to verify any diligence in my studies.I am currently dealing with some financial difficulties, and I cannot pay my application fees. Community Service

2/18/2021- Prairie School District I was teaching kids about the nutritional needs for animals. I brought my cow in and I was teaching them what cows eat as well as the different breeds.

11/20/2021 - Vision of the Trees I got to help my 4h group clean up the vision of the trees and I got to stack up the chairs so I can make sure there is enough room for the Christmas tree. I helped the Fort morgan community hang up light and put up trees for a contest then after I helped clean.

11/20/2021 - Brush Community -I got to help the Lions Club to make a Thanksgiving meal for people that are not able to. We got to make all of the common food that you would make at Thanksgiving. It was super fun to help people that are not able to do that sort of stuff. During covid we had to make to go boxes so I can take it them to the Brush communities home.

2/17/2022- Prairie School District- I brought my goats and chickens to barn yard day I was teaching my school how to make sure that your animal is safe. You also need to make sure that your animals have the right shelter for them to be safe.

7/23/2022- New Raymer Community I was at the New Raymer fairgrounds to help give out free snow cones for the community.

8/31/2022- River Watch At the end of each month my fellow classmates test the South Platte river. I test the Ph levels in the river water and the temperature of the water to get the accurate measuring it has to be 20 degrees Fareinhiet. It is interesting to watch the meter get the ph level some months its low and some months its high. To help the Local farmers so they get the water that has the right measurements of Ph in there water.

9/30/2022- River Watch The scientific instrument that I use is the Ph meter probe there is a temp probe as well.I get to monitor the temperature and the Ph. I have to put the probes in three different solutions ph7,ph10,and sample water. To help the Local farmers so they get the water that has the right measurements of Ph in there water.

1/15/2023- Weldona Community I asked if I could help the weldona community cook breakfast. The second weekend my the community serves breakfast for the community. I helped cook biscuits for the biscuits and gravy. Then I cooked the sausage and bacon for the side. We had a parent bring scrambled eggs. My brother helped make the gravy for the biscuit and gravy. When the sausage and bacon were done I put them in the serving dish. Then I helped gather the dishes and clean and put them away.

1/27/2023- Prairie School District I helped with the Knowledge Bowl that was held at my school. It was a great experience to help and see what the cooks do everyday. I got to see my favorite teachers today. I asked how the competition was going. I got see how volunteering is a great help in my school and community. There were different districts who competed in this event.

2/5/2023- Sanding pews I helped the Fort Morgan Community by sanding pews. To make sure that they don't get splinters.

2/8/2023- River Watch I help our community with the river testing. I test the ph on a meter and I also measure the temperature. To help the Local farmers so they get the water that has the right measurements of Ph in there water.

3/23/2023- Calling on the Capitol I had the opportunity to go to the Capitol to feed the employees and the capitol we were trying to push that we need help close the urban and rural divide. I developed near term of impacts and I had professional decisions on how I was going to present something to the denver community. I used my learning in agriculture to help them understand what we are doing out here in the small towns with our small local farms. I used my personal story to help them understand why we need to close the urban and rural divide. I was listening to information they were talking to us about I got to learn what they do.

8/17/2023- New Raymer Community I helped the New Raymer community with the feeders and friends. I was helping serve food to the community. I also was able to meet new people.
