Summary

I feel that all of my life experiences (both professional and volunteer) have made me well suited to instruct Ping Pong Parkinson's. I have developed many interpersonal skills that will assist me in guiding participants to gain the most out of the table tennis sessions. In addition, I will be attending a 6 hour training session led by AJ Carney , the Table Tennis Director of Coaches at GVTTC (Genesee Valley Table Tennis Club (see attachment). I will also be required to review several documents/books/.fact sheets/blogs/etc found on the Parkinson Foundation website which will include, but not limited to Exercise and PD fact sheet, Parkinson's Exercise Recommendations fact sheet, and the following publications: Fitness Counts, Frequently Asked Questions, Living Your Best Life, etc
