All my life I have been performance driven. I have aspired to be the best at whatever endeavor I'm in. My days at Tradeway were spent trying to become the best employee with the broadest skillset possible so I could help any and all customers with any issue they may have had. During my time with Citizens State bank, I have continued to out perform my peers. This is clearly seen in the performance of their Dawson branch under my leadership. It was the fastest growing bank in all of Navarro county at time of my departure. I have been selected as the prototypical universal banker for Citizens State Bank. I am ahead of schedule in completing all of the necessary training to fulfill this goal. This training included a graduate degree in banking from SWGSB at SMU. I am continuing this success in my current role with Sunflower Bank. My branch continues to be a top performer in almost every statistical category in our branch financials despite being one of the smallest markets. I would describe myself as a performance-driven strategic thinker, problem solver and leader with 6+ years of banking experience. I am passionate in applying excellent organization and communication skills to manage and lead teams on a daily basis to find the right answer to all situations. I've demonstrated the ability to exercise outstanding independent judgment, decision making, creativity and initiative. I am definitely results-oriented in interfacing and consulting on business processes that drive results based on sound overall business judgment. I will do whatever I can within the bounds of compliance, policy and procedure to see my employer succeed. There is no job too small or too insignificant for me to perform. I am a firm believer that you have to lead by example and have always done so. How can I ask, or expect, a co-worker to perform a task that I am not first willing to do myself? My banking mentor has been in banking for 50 years now. He has always lead this way and his employees have always loved him and enjoyed working with him. His mantra is "you aren't just dealing with people's money, you're dealing with their lives". I've done my best to make that mantra my own. At the end of the day banking is not all about dollars and cents. Its about relationships. Its about the people you work with and the community you can help. Treat them both the way you want to be treated and watch both flourish.
I am an avid golfer and outdoor enthusiast. I love just about anything outdoors. Pretty fair corn-hole player too, until I have to play my wife. Grew up on a farm and ranch so its very easy to relate to any and all customers that enter the door.
