  • Oversees a 41-member Active Duty and civilian team responsible for providing meteorological and environmental support to Ft Drum's 10th Mountain Division.
  • Leads the application of meteorological data into U.S Army airfield, aviation, and ground operations. While ensuring 24/7 resource protection for an installation containing over 19K military and civilian personnel via the issuance of weather "watches warnings and advisories".
  • Responsible for the maintenance and accounting of 14 meteorological sensors valued at over $2M. Most notably overseeing 2 highly trained technicians tasked with maintaining the Montague NY, NEXRAD/WSR 88D Doppler radar. A system requiring the liaising between the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Commerce (DoC), and private sector agencies in the region.
  • Manages a $36K annual budget and 39 additional organizational programs, responsible for essential training, equipment/Information system management, and quality of life needs for a 41-member team. Simultaneously ensuring the unit upholds annual safety, training, and facility regulations set by the Department of the Air Force (DAF).

Lead Meteorologist

  • Manages production of TAF's, aviation weather hazard charts, weather watches, warnings and advisories protecting over 570K personnel and $241B in DoD assets across a 26-state, 3-nation Area of Interest.
  • Oversees the backup support of both Aviation Weather Center (AWC) and Storm Prediction Center (SPC) Department of Commerce (DoC) programs. Ensuring "no-fail" and continuous 24/7 coverage of the mission critical NOAA programs.

  • Significant Accomplishments: Secured $500K Portable Doppler Radar, and coordinated with 5 different agencies along with host nation entities to stand up the first U.S owned doppler radar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
