I am currently re-locating from Orange County to Brooklyn to pursue creative endeavors more seriously.
I would love to work in a field that involves writing, whether for a newspaper, journal, or publishing house. I'm also drawn to technical writing and brand strategy. I'm especially drawn to creative and cultural outlets such as Interview Magazine and i-D Magazine, where fashion, art, and culture thrive. I am deeply inspired by The Marginalian, for its thoughtful exploration of science, philosophy, and literary criticism. Additionally, I am personally fascinated by psychology, religion, and yoga. This is what drew me to working at Yoga + Pilates Studio in Laguna Beach. I view bodily function and health as foundational—integral to every other aspect of life.
I have worked in many restaurants and cafes, which have brought me immeasurable skills on working with other people, and being intuitive with customer relations. Ultimately, my dream job would be writing for film or television—crafting scripts that reach broad audiences.
Living in Barcelona for five months and having the opportunity to teach English, broadened my horizons to the benefit of cross-cultural engagement, and showed me the largely universal experience of the need for relevant communal engagement and literature. A role that allows me to travel and write would be the perfect combination of creativity, adventure, and professional fulfillment.
