  • Doing so, allowed me to create friendships with the residents and employees.
  • I learned very quickly the routines of each resident and also how to work the charting system.

  • I always made sure that the shack was kept clean and organized.

  • A few times, she would have me organize her files in her office.
  • This job taught me lots of cleaning skills as well as socializing skills.

Full Time Missionary

06/2022, 12/2023, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, This volunteer experience is one that I hope to never forget. I just returned home after serving in the Washington DC North mission. Here, I had the purpose to invite others to come unto Christ in all that I did and said. I served in Pasadena, College Park, Laurel, and most of Southern Maryland doing so. Within this time period, I not only taught people about the gospel, but I also participated in many serving opportunities such as thrift stores, food pantries, and cleaning. During this time, I had multiple companions who I had to learn to work and communicate with and love. I grew spiritually and emotionally. I’ve learned to meet people where they are, as they are and help them become. I learned skills such as patience, humility, kindness, charity, diligence, and determination. Reference: Todd Clarke

Volunteer Experience

Farmington Youth City Council, Mayor, 01/2020, 01/2021, This volunteer experience taught me lots of important skills. I have been on Farmington Youth City Council for two years; this is my third year, but I'm mayor. FYCC is a fun group of kids who serve our community in small and large ways. I can work with new faces, make new friends, and create lots of fun memories. I can serve those in my community and make people smile. I loved doing all the service activities from the big Easter Egg hunt to the little Dinner Theater Play that we serve food for.
