My time here at WCWD has been a great period in my life. I was hired in at the entry level position and have progressed to a supervisor title that I am very proud of . In my time here I have learned a world worth of knowledge about utilities and how they serve our communities . in fact I helped guide 1 of my own children to serve in another utility group in this same community.
My first experience in the department proved to me how important working together was because of the consistent work load. I was able become a supervisor and had a major hand in hiring quite a few the employees and I take great pride that they have progressed to other departments I hope that one day they will remember some of the conversations that we have had and can say that they remember discussing these scenarios or situations and understand that we were trying to build and prepare them for success
I have always tried to build a team environment and been willing to use different approaches to help individuals if needed . I have stressed the importance of reliability and what comes with that . I have always tried to be a person that is willing to listen and reason with others and find the best possible path for all parties moving forward without compromising the goals and expectations of this department and WCWD. I have made mistakes but tried to learn from them and be better from it. I am willing to ask questions in areas that I need , and not be insecure to let someone else take credit for what they have done. I believe that if you take care of your team for the most part they will take care of you. I have honestly tried to be as fair to both my leads so if they applied for this position they would both have equal opportunity for it and lastly I have tried to be the the boss that i would want to work for

Started at the entry level at the start up of a new business it was a pick and pack warehouse that supplied animal vaccines and biologicals for all of the co-op stores like southern states in ky. from Maine to Florida and Wyoming to North Carolina. We basically started at nothing and built up to ov er 2 thousand indiviual packages per day thru UPS and multiply over the road orders on pallets delivered by trucking companies
