However, more importantly I have been playing or coaching AAU, middle school, or high school basketball for almost 30 years. I volunteered in Texas where I have been living the past 20 years coaching football, baseball, and basketball for my son and others.

I also recently produced a basketball podcast with my good friend Kellen Buffington who is now the General Manager at Texas Tech University. It is on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts. It is called The Triple Double Podcast. We covered everything from recruiting tips to NBA player interviews to mental health.

I talk to him weekly and all we do is talk hoops. He was the owner of The TB5 Reports Scouting service before joining Tech.

This past season I volunteered at Norfolk Catholic in Norfolk Nebraska with my best friend and neighbor Principal Bill Lafleur. We coached the 7th grade boys and this is when I knew I wanted to continue coaching because it is truly the only thing I love to do.

I am 48 years old, I've been in business and done very well for myself. But you get to a certain age and money is not what keeps the fire burning. Salary, etc is the least of my worries.

I have a passion for basketball. I'm sure it would be a stretch to hire a 48 year old, but I am sure I can bring a wealth of knowledge to your program.
