Hello, my name is Cyrus Annelli. I am currently 20 years old and currently in my sophomore year of college. I attended Bacon Academy High School and graduated in 2020. I have played baseball most of my life and I am currently playing college baseball at the college MCLA. My father, Chris Annelli, is the owner of Annelli Paving, where I have worked most of my life. I enjoy doing physical labor work during the Summertime, but this year will be a little bit different because I recently got labrum surgery on my shoulder, which will limit me to physical labor work and the current baseball season. Driving is one of my favorite hobbies to do in general, and Door Dash was a job opportunity I did 1-2 years ago. I enjoyed delivering to people, but the amount of pay wasn't very high, so I decided to move on from that job. My usual Summer includes working for Annelli Paving and making plans after work to enjoy the rest of the day. 2 years ago, I was working at Christmas Tree Shop in Waterford, CT while I was in my first year of college because I was online. I worked at 6AM,3-4 days per week, and worked 6 hours per day. I am looking at having a career in the marketing field, but concentrating at becoming a salesman. Working keeps me occupied and concentrated on making money while improving the company. I don't work just to work, but I work to make myself a better person and earn what I want to accomplish. I have 2 more years left of college after these next 2 months, and I will be working hard during this time to get excellent grades and make money at this time for the future to come.
I was able to work with a few other groundsmen workers to help the other pavers with giving them the proper amount of gravel, dirt, or pavement for a specific area. Additionally, I was able to use machines like a wacker, roller, and bobcat at certain times to help move objects and make the job look a lot more smoother.
I was able to stock shelves while organizing the shelves so it is easier for customers to find products. Also, I helped customers if they needed help by guiding them to a specific aisle where the product is and communicated with them for further assistance.
High School: Honor Roll & High Honor multiple times with a 3.2 GPA
College: National Honors Society at MCLA along with a 3.5 GPA
Baseball: Played Varsity Baseball Every Year During High School. I also am currently playing college baseball at MCLA.
