Before moving to California and being a student at Brentwood High School, I was a horseback riding instructor at Skyrock Farm from 2019 to 2021, teaching English riding and horse care, along with fostering trust between riders and horses. I worked to build teaching strategies to enhance both theoretical knowledge and practical skills using strong time management, motivation, and resourceful problem-solving abilities. Finally, I encouraged the process of teaching for the horse as well as the student to ensure a positive, learning, and safe experience for all. Along with this, I have also been employed as a babysitter for a few different families. This has included taking care of one or more children, keeping them entertained, making sure their homework is done, and putting them to bed. This has helped me build strong skills in patience and responsibility, which I have found to be extremely applicable in my everyday life. I have also used my compassion as a volunteer for She Styles, creating a productive and efficient environment to empower girls in the clothing donation process. I posse specialized skills in community engagement, effective and positive communication, and planning. Finally, my time at SunLife has helped enhance my skills in teamwork, adaptability, and ensuring successful project outcomes. I have gained key skills in problem-solving and attention to detail, eager to learn and develop in a collaborative environment from experience in customer interaction and time management, with focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
