• Patient Interaction: Greeting patients, answering phones, and directing patients to exam rooms.
• Administrative Tasks: Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting payments, updating patient records, and managing paperwork.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining patient records, and organizing medical documents.
• Patient Care: Taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, and administering medications (as permitted by state law).

• float across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations

• Rooming Patients

• Assist provider when needed

• prior authorizations

• manage in basket and faxes

• discharge patients

• medication audits and inventory count

• stock exam rooms

• input patient medical records and imaging disks into EMR

• assist with Rapid Response

• Collect blood, tissues or other laboratory specimens

• Log Specimens

• POC testing for Covid, Flu, Strep and Covid antibody testing and Covid PCR tests

• Rooming patient and assist provider when needed

• Vital signs

• Injection / Lab Draws

• EKG's/ Spirometry

• Prior Authorizations for imaging and medications

• Urinalysis and Microalbumin test

• Chest Xrays

• Scan in medical records to patients chart on Epic

• Stock rooms and check expirations

• Cover other provider when staff is out

• Insurance Verification and collect payments
