  • As a senior commercial loan officer, authorized to approve and sign up to the $2M authority lending limit. I have the ability to underwrite, and approve all loan packages within my authority. The loans are reviewed by management, and the loan compliance department to ensure the loan aligns with banks credit risk policy and risk appetite. Loans originated are Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE).

Loan Oversight and Controls:

  • Management of ALL aspects of the loan structuring, terms, conditions, covenants, pricing, and administration from inception to close.
  • Management of ALL aspects of construction loans, approving the budget, boarding, construction monitoring, and approving all draw requests.
  • Oversee the loan underwriting and evaluation of the credit performance. Including analyzing the company's cash flow, balance sheets, collateral evaluation, and personal financial statements analysis of sponsors. Current and historical stress test of the company's financials up to 3 years.
  • Collaborate with the senior credit officer, senior management to finalize terms and conditions of any and all loan approvals above $2M.
  • Recommend and assign proper lending credit grade according to the risk, and add moody's risk rating reporting for compliance.
  • Maintain orderly and properly documented files to manage the preparation of annual loan reviews, loan renewals, loan modifications, loan asset quality reports, and collections efforts on past due and or any forbearance, or defaulted loans.
  • Recommend full depository relationships to treasury management partners to strengthen and maximize profitability.
  • Manage complex, multi-product line account client relationships as the officer for the bank.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to existing and new clients while promoting and selling the bank's full suite of products and services.
  • Actively support business with revenues of $2-100M and greater.

Daily functions:

  • Monitoring of loan portfolio to ensure proper administration of all required compliance needs.
  • Work closely with lending assistant to ensure efficiency and seamless work processes related to the loan and deposit relationships.
  • Work with retail staff to support the opening of new commercial deposit accounts to ensure proper documentation, pricing, forms and onboarding.
  • Management and record all deposit and loan activity in the companies CRM program (Sales Force) which assists senior management to accurately report budgets. Adding new opportunities and disposition all leads from sale and to close status.
  • Attend weekly pipeline meetings and deliver expected loan numbers to contribute to the budget.
