• Act as a host by greeting and orienting guests as they enter assigned areas
• Ensure the safety of guests while in assigned areas
• Display Guest Experience training standards daily and consistently to enthusiastically create an unforgettable experience through personalized service
• Provide a high level of guest service by engaging guests, answering questions, resolving issues, making thoughtful recommendations, and identifying opportunities to personalize each experience
• Be knowledgeable of the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt brand and the products designed to delight our guests
• Monitor activity in assigned areas and manage the ticket-scanning process
• Assist in wayfinding, guest flow, and line management

Meet, greet and interact with guests in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner Provide directions within the attraction to maintain consistent guest flow Offer safety/other information to inquiring guests as needed Admit ticket holders into the attraction through use of wireless admission terminals Load appropriate number of guests into elevators Identify any guest traffic obstacles and partner with manager on duty for resolution Answer any/all guest questions concerning the Observation Deck, Rockefeller Center and New York City in general.

• Conducted regular patrols of key areas to spot and control security concerns.
• Acted quickly during emergency situations to reduce opportunity for damage and injury.
• Oversaw daily monitoring and patrolled buildings, grounds, and work sites.
• Screened individuals and prevented passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Checked and verified photo identification prior to granting facility access.

Facilitate entry for arriving guests that enter our park, rides, and attractions

• Handle all ticket & membership sales inquiries, answering questions, and explaining benefits as needed

• Actively promote and inform guests about our diverse assortment of premium products

• Process sales through the ticketing point-of-sale system

• Assist with the operation of the Central Park Zoo 4D Theater.
