I am a CNA who values love, honesty, care, and respect. I have always been honest with my patients, unless it is not appropriate to discuss it with them. Treating my patients just like I would treat my own friends is how I have come to be a great CNA. My favorite part about what I do is learning new ways of life, and by that, I mean what it looks like to love and be loved, or what it looks like to work hard for little pay. They are my friends, and I have treasured every lesson I have learned from them.
Since I was a night-shift aide, things were a bit different for me.
For a long time I was down a dark path. I didn't know how to love others like I should and my heart was full of hatred. In August of 2024 I went to Church for the first time in a long time and I finally found Christ. Ever since then I love others even when they don't like me. I am kind to those who talk about me. I feed those that do not want to see me happy. I smile even when I don't feel like smiling. This is who I am proud to be.
