I have work for Quakers Windows and Doors for a year and half and still work there right now. I used to be a pounder which consist of building sashes for windows. I now currently work in specialty which consist of boxing fully build windows in the frames. Each window in the frame weighs anywhere between 100-330 Ibs.
My day at Kwik Kar consisted of detailing all different style boats of all sizes. We were given a list of boats for the day, once we were done we could go home for the day. If we didn't have any boats that day or the weather was bad we worked in the shop detailing cars.
My job as a merchandiser consisted of traveling from store to store. We had about 7-8 stores a day we would go too. We had ether a pull up store or a unload store. Pull up stores were basically just pulling whatever back stock once needed up front and thats it. For unloading stores we had like 3-4 pallets to unloaded and put away. Once all pallets were done we stocked whatever needed to be stocked up front. Then put away the rest in back stock and that was it for that store. Also once all stores were done we go home for the day.
