David (DJ) Mihu

High-performing Assistant Nursing Operations Manager with a proven track record of leading and managing 140 nursing staff at the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working under visionary leaders and mentors within the Orlando Health system, who have encouraged me to expand my leadership abilities and impact within the organization. Joining the rapidly growing ORMC team aligns perfectly with my aspirations to apply my experience and elevate the level of nursing practice within OH.

• Graduated from the 2022 Orlando Health Emerging Leaders Program
• Led collaborative efforts with the APH nursing leadership and clinical teams to equip our nursing and medical staff to effectively assume the care of pediatric patients
• Participated in the Operations and Planning team over the course of 10+ months in planning and executing a successful 40 patient move from ORMC to OHARI in October 2023, and our learnings and findings were presented at a national nursing conference
• By establishing a brand new hospital, I have had the opportunity to become thoroughly acquainted with creating brand new processes, protocols and systems to optimize patient care and ensure compliance with Orlando Health's policies and procedures. But my biggest accomplishment throughout this process was instilling hope and buy-in from TMs during a time of significant uncertainty toward the future
