Through my nine years of working in both foods and customer service, I have greatly developed my skills in team communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking, customer service and creating a positive social environment. I have taken on many forms of both leadership and management positions while also maintaining positive work relations with my coworkers and subordinates.
After moving to Minnesota and starting off as a crew member, I quickly rose to shift manager, a position in which a learned a lot on shift management, delegating responsibility, running a shift, promoting positive customer relations and positive work environments.
Applying my skills from previous work experience-diligence, multi-tasking, communication, and positive service- within my first month or so of working, management began prepping me to become an MIT (Manager In Training). With this came to the opportunity to broaden my skill range as I gained skills such as kitchen protocol, food safety, customers service skills, closing store protocols, and bringing a positive attitude to a work environment.
Responsibilities included; cleaning, multi-tasking, customer services, taking the money and giving correct change, and taking orders.
In this particular fast pace job, I quickly learned how to work efficiently and quickly while always giving my attention to the customer and helping them to the best of my ability
As a New York Film Academy (NYFA) alumni, I was apart of a teenage and young adult media and entertainment field program designed to teach us skills in multiple media forms. Through this, I gained knowledge in team building, media technology uses, and group communication.
