Skills

Positive attitude - I always try to point out the upsides of a situation. I like to say "No bad days".
Team leadership - I will lead by example
experience
fairness and opportunity for growth. I have the ability to inspire
motivate and support our employees. Under performing employees will be asked what can i do to help. I'd look into training options and set goals for them. High performance employees also need encouragement and praise. In both situations
a little positive gesture goes a long way.
Multitasking and organization - I have the ability to handle multiple situations and issues in a priority of urgency. Being organized is something I've always took pride in.
Problem-solving - I'd evaluate the situation
come up with solutions
pick the best option
take action and see if it works.
Customer service - Our customer's are the back bone of this industry. Without them
we don't have a business. As we all know
typically a customer is not the happiest when they come to the service department because they are broke down. Without the wheels turning
it's costing them compounding expenses through loss of a load
driver's wages and unit payments. I will do my best to maintain the least amount of down time as possible.
Critical thinking - Sometimes situations arise that call for creative solutions. Be open to all options available. Think outside the box for a reasonable solution.
