  • The Inventory Value I dealt with ranged from 1.5 - 10+ million between the 2 warehouses (Client’s warehouse inventory and our own warehouse inventory) I was working in.

  • I’ve dealt with parts that cost as low as a couple dollars upwards of $200,000+

  • -Receipting/Storing/Staging inventory and parts
  • -When parts/freight come in, I would check POs to confirm part #s, QTY, quality, accuracy and for any damage to make sure everything is Up to standard. Once’s confirmed it is to be receipted and put in its rightful place whether it be for stock or to a certain department and staged where necessary. With any discrepancies, were addressed and fixed
  • -Cycle Counts/Inventory Management/Stock Takes for our stock to make sure inventory is up to date and matched all of our numbers in JDE (Inventory Management Software) with any discrepancies I had to problem solve to see where our inventory is going and why/why not we are missing parts
  • - i put in orders for inventory whether it be PPE, keeping stock for PM Kits and parts for all of our mine operations and LARGE heavy mining equipment
  • -Working with our Maintenance Department to help with WOs, building REQs and sending them through to our Finance department for processing POs
  • -Operating Equipment to load/unload freight, clean up yard, deliver parts, etc
  • -Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to go over daily/weekly tasks for safety, we identify all the hazards that come with each task along with controls to mitigate those hazards. This is what we do on a daily basis to ensure the safety of our colleagues
  • -Pre-inspections on work area and all equipment even light vehicles. Any safety hazards are to be reported to supervisor and addressed or immediately addressed if it’s a quick fix
  • -Barricading off when we are dealing with high risk jobs and in any unauthorized areas
  • -Off-loading hazardous chemicals (re-agents)
  • -Working at heights
  • -I also have some experience in a hybrid leadership role having to lead my team, run small meetings with my team, making sure we hit our KPI’s, along with even training them on how to operate certain equipment & how to use our Inventory Management System(s)

  • Because we work at such a high standard for safety along working outside in adverse weather at high elevation we’d have to make sure that all personnel have a fatigue management plan in place, wear PPE in all required work areas (95% of the time), paperwork was properly filled out, filed and everyone involved is signed off to ensure we were all aware of the hazards of the current job/project and stating all of the controls that will be put in place to mitigate those hazards, making sure everyone is following the processes and rules up to MSHA and site specific/company SOP standards
