• Management of multiple-specialty outpatient surgery center hospital department, consisting of 5 operating rooms, 3 endoscopy/procedure rooms, 20 recovery bays and 8 Pre-Op bays, performing 5000+ cases annually. Responsible for centralizing and growing surgical scheduling team.

• Supervision of clinical areas to include pre-admit evaluations, Pre-Op, Operating Room, gastrointestinal procedures, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Sterile Processing with 40 direct reports by scheduling, directing and evaluating staff.
• Oversaw day-to-day operation in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing, and processing team members.
• Collaborated with team to determine resources needed to accomplish objectives in clinical areas while being fiscally responsible in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Implemented new processes with the team based on best practice.
• Scheduled, monitored, and adjusted staffing based on surgical and procedural volumes to maintain productivity standards.
• Team member for the oversight of redesign and remodel of the endoscopy area of the surgery center to meet current infection control standards and to accommodate the addition of new doctors.

• Similar duties as manager role with supervision of 18 direct reports in Pre-Op, GI, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit with 18 direct reports.
