Speech Language Pathologist with clinical experience in a variety of clinical settings including public schools, private practice, acute rehabilitation, outpatient and skilled nursing facilities. Areas of expertise range from Geriatric and Pediatric Rehab, dysphagia management, tracheostomy/vents, traumatic brain injury, cerebral vascular accident and progressive neurological diseases. Ten years of additional experience has been devoted to leadership roles, organizing and presenting seminars to healthcare professionals in Pediatric Feeding Disorders, Cognitive and Pragmatic Rehabilitation and Alzheimer's Disease.
Retired from the Speech Language Pathology field to take care of mother and aunt who were diagnosed with severe illnesses. However, still practiced as SLP while being a caregiver.
