The Youth Detention Worker is responsible for the supervision, safety, and well-being of juveniles in a secure detention facility. The role involves maintaining order, enforcing rules, and implementing rehabilitation programs to help young individuals develop skills and behaviors that will enable them to reintegrate successfully into society.

• Process requests for access to systems, databases, facilities, or services.
• Evaluate and verify credentials or eligibility for access.
• Grant, modify, or revoke access as per organizational policies.
• Maintain up-to-date records of access permissions.

• Utilizing a person-centered approach
• Facilitates the personal growth and development of each individual
• Advocate individuals rights in the program
• Maintain healthy, safe and nurturing living environments
• Community involvement
• Provide the necessary areas of staff support.

• Delivers patient care by performing specialized interventions
• Participates in Quality Assurance activities
• Orients patients and families
• Performs technical procedures
• Collects specimens and data
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Utilizes unit equipment and assists others in unit activities.

• Keep floor clear of any dry or liquid debris
• Keep accurate sweep logs
• Use appropriate protective equipment
• Practice safe use of tools and equipment required by position
• Clean and stock supply shelves.
