Summary

I am currently a Parts Expediter for a steel processing plant in Riverside. While I enjoy my job and co-workers. I am looking to advance my Inventory Career and OCTA can provide that opportunity. I have worked in this position for the past 22 months. As an parts expeditor i keep track of all the consumable's used by maintenance. I also replace and restock electrical, mechanical and hydraulic steel processing parts. I replace them when supplies start to get low using a purchase order book. I work with accounting and the front office secretary via email or in person to assure that orders are correct and on time. I check the mail room a few times a day. I work with engineers to schedule pick up and/or deliveries of unique parts for when they need to be available. I maintain relationships with suppliers and work with them to order the correct equipment while also expediting deliveries when possible. I drive a GMC 2500 that I inspect and do minor service on. After reading the OCTA Equipment Parts Clerk job description. I knew i could do this job effectively and professionally, I'm already doing it.

About five years ago due to unforeseen events. I am no longer physically able to be an elevator mechanic. While it is very profitable and has amazing benefits. I have decided to move on for quality of life reasons. I am a very hard worker, and will be a true asset for any employer.

Well-trained in operations and upkeep for systems. I have extensive knowledge of different components, installation methods and repair requirements. Manages time well to stay ahead of high workloads and meet customers' needs.

Trained Mechanic with over 10 years of experience performing complex installation and safe repair of elevators in high-rise buildings. Dedicated to working collaboratively with teams to optimize safety. Special focus on balancing performance and efficiency.

Detail-oriented professional knowledgeable about restoring mechanical function through skilled maintenance and repair. Talented in troubleshooting advanced problems and tracing root causes. Focused on preventing breakdowns and maintaining optimal safety of installed systems.

Attentive driver with strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns. Monitors road conditions and construction areas to maintain schedule adherence. You have to have these skill when moving material to and from jobsites. As well as when you have a material off-load that you have to stage and organize.

I am a committed job seeker with a history of meeting company needs with consistent and organized practices. Skilled in working under pressure and adapting to new situations and challenges to best enhance the organizational brand.

Organized and motivated employee eager to apply time management and organizational skills in various environments. Seeking entry-level opportunities to expand skills while facilitating company growth. I am a highly motivated employee with desire to take on new challenges. Strong worth ethic, adaptability and exceptional interpersonal skills. Adept at working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills. The only reason i left my last employer was due to spending an average of 65-75 hours away from home every week was having a very negative effect on my children and family. Working allot of overtime every day is hard on a single parent. I left on good terms with management after addressing this issue appropriately.
