Seeking ADC-T and LADC position. I am a compassionate and hardworking individual with lived experience in active addiction, with a desire to help other individuals to find recovery from substance abuse. I have had experience interning with multiple populations. I experienced in problem-solving, conflict resolution and communication abilities. I have experience in implementing individualized treatment plans and care coordination in collaboration with clients, counselors, and other team members. I am able to provide supportive counseling and guidance, and I have experience working in high-pressure environments without sacrificing quality of care. I believe in team work, and that all employees play an important role in a client's recovery, and therefore all jobs relating to their recovery are important. Interning with multiple populations, and working as a clinical assistant and case manager as well, have taught me this first hand. I have completed my LADC Internship in January of 2021, and applied for my temporary license to practice as an ADC-T while I complete my Bachelors Degree at UWS in order to get my permanent license to practice as an LADC. I sent my application in about a month ago and should be receiving my license very soon. I hope that you will consider accepting me onto your team, and I look forward to hearing from you.
