When arriving at work I inspect the locomotive, and service as needed. I receive my daily worklist and organize trains efficiently. We service customers according to the specifications. While traveling our route to said customers, I am always surveying the safety of the tracks and looking for any future maintenance issues that may be developing. An important part of the job is catching any concerns, so they can be fixed before damage or injury can occur. I report any of these findings to the proper management for situational resolutions. Teamwork is impairative in communicating effectively with coworkers to safely switch cars and complete the daily tasks. Through my many years of service at this railroad I have learned multiple areas of this craft. I have filled in at the car shop as needed, worked track maintenance, trained numerous employees, I am knowledgeable in remote locomotive operations, and have built a longstanding repor with customers.
