Investigate misconduct reports, interviews incarcerated youth and makes recommendation to the appropriate committee for disposition, serve as a member of the discipline committee

Observes, evaluates, and reports incarcerated youth behavior to treatment team, security director and counselor; participate in the coordination of the institutional treatment functions; and monitor behavior in accordance with treatment team and counselor recommendation; counsel/advise incarcerated youth either individually or groups; participates in group therapy sessions

Provides direct supervision to all juveniles to all juveniles Correctional Specialists assigned to the unit and ensure that the are a is adequately and properly staffed by collaborating with the shift commander

Ensures security and safety by providing sight and direct supervision, monitor residents activities, movements, and room assignments, and complying with key control procedures

Collaborate regularly with stakeholders in addressing residents case management, behavioral, medical, education, security or re-entry requirements to maintain the comprehensive and integrate delivery of services designed to achieve positive growth and change
